WALKING WITH SPIRIT  

Most of us believe in a Higher Power but some of us are unsure  who or what we believe it is. We call It many names. So as not to exclude any of His/Her children, let's call it Spirit or Source.

       Spirit is our Creator. It is the creator of the universe and all living things. Spirit is energy and light, so is our universe, so are we.  If you feel that something is missing in your life, that you can't find your purpose, that everything seems out of control, you are not alone.  Life in these changing times can be challenging, to say the least.

      There are many religions to study but sometimes none seem to fit.  It shouldn't be that hard, and it isn't.  Walk with me a while and I will lead you through some very interesting paths that perhaps you hadn't considered before.  I will share with you some of my experiences while searching for Spirit.  I searched for many years without even knowing that I was.  I endured much hardship before learning that it was all part of my growing. Understanding it all makes sense of the sorrow and pain.  Perhaps I can show you some "shortcuts" along the way.

      My  search for Spirit has taken years of study in many different religions, only to find that they all have some very common beliefs.  Put simply, we are here to love  one another, take care of our planet, honor our elders, nurture our young ones, clear ourselves of negative thoughts and actions, help lead other seekers to Source, and strive to walk closely with Spirit in order to discover our individual purpose during this Earth Dance.

       If you haven't discovered during your journey "where" Spirit is, I shall tell you in one simple word.          

WITHIN

     That is "where"  Spirit is.  Spirit is "within" each of us.  We only need to quiet ourselves long enough to find and feel It.   I know it can be difficult to quiet oneself and listen, so I recommend practicing meditation and learning to see through the "third eye".  Once you spend time in quiet contemplation and ask to experience Spirit's love and warmth, it will be granted.  Not to a chosen few but to anyone who asks.

      I was brought up in structured religions but I had never "felt" that Spirit was inside me.  I learned and practiced the different belief systems of the organized religions, yet I did not know that It was within me every moment of every day and I daresay that I had never felt It.  I prayed, oh I prayed like mad, but that also did not give me a deeper relationship.  That action alone actually made me feel that my prayers weren't answered.  I actually felt like a whiney baby who cried each time something uncomfortable occurred in my life.

     Many people learn the scriptures, the rules, the laws, and the behaviors practiced within the walls of their churches, yet they never "feel" It inside, so, when they leave their service, they don't realize that Spirit goes with them.  They fall back into their daily habits and patterns and forget all about Spirit until next Sunday morning.  What a lonely place that is.  I know for having been a part of that for many years.

     Imagine my excitement when I learned how to "Feel Spirit,  See Spirit, and  Hear Spirit"!!!!!!!  Oh, my gosh.  My tears fell freely for all the time that I didn't spend in union   WITH  SPIRIT.

    I  did not  truly understand that  Spirit is in every single thing that lives, just as every single living thing IS SPIRIT.  Spirit is You, You Are Spirit.  Yes, You are SPIRIT and SPIRIT is you!!!!!!!!  Rejoice, Love yourself madly, because You are Spirit.

  Spirit said, "I Am the Great I Am.  I Am All that there is, so, I Am You, and You are Me."  "As is Within, so Without."  My Brothers and Sisters, you must find Spirit within Yourselves.  The time is Now.  This is the most valuable gift that you will EVER discover.  It is better than power, better than money, better than material possessions.  It is Heaven on Earth to know that Spirit is Within You.  It will change your life and then you will discover your life's purpose.

     You will no longer wonder if God is punishing you.  You will know that God does not punish. Our experiences are for our Souls evolution.  There are many lessons to learn in order for us to evolve further.  Once we learn them and stop repeating our mistakes we progress further.  If we do not learn from our lessons, we will continue to experience them and endure the pain and sorrow that accompanies them.

     While walking on this physical plane we are involved in the illusions  that we, as "mankind", have made-up.  Many of these illusions consist of fear, ego, pride, power, the need to control, etc.  These are inventions of mankinds "mind".  They are not characteristics of our Soul.  Our soul knows nothing of these traits.   We must strive to reach upper planes, spiritual planes, that are available to us anytime we chose, once we learn how to reach beyond our "mind", beyond the physical plane.

     Spirit is Energy, Light, and Love.  That is all.  And that is all that this entire Universe is made up of.  If that is all that this Universe is, then that is all that we are too.  Everything else is a direct manifestation of humankinds mind.  In other words, everything else is an illusion that we have made up.

     Reach beyond the illusion and you too will experience All That Is.  Light, Energy, and Love.  That is God, That is You, and That is Me!!!!!  You will see it, feel it, be it, radiate it and then you will be truly free!!!!!!!

     I know that this may sound strange to many of you, but just the fact that you are reading this is an indicator that you are seeking.  You are not here by chance.  You are here because your souls journey brought you to this page. Nothing happens by chance.  You see, your soul is much wiser than your mind.  Your soul is beginning to remember  and knows that it came here for a purpose.   It simply has to convince your mind to allow it to reach out to Source.  Read that again, "Your Soul Remembers that It  came here to fulfill a purpose".   It only has to convince your mind.

     Once you acknowledge your soul, and it's desires, then you can begin to live your life in a joyful and loving way.  You will no longer take any of your hardships personally.  In fact, you can grin upon them all as you will know that this is your souls evolution, reaching back towards Source.  You will view death, tragedy, and sickness differently.  These three things that involve our human emotions are physical manifestations.  Once we know that they are for our spiritual growth, then can we learn from them and allow our soul to evolve to the next level.

     Do not take my word for this because these are only my words.  Find the truth within yourself.  You will not find Spirit here on this written page.  Yet It's Energy is embedded within these words because Spirit is within this written page.  Now you must search within yourself.

     There has been much written on this topic since the creation of the www.  It is not by chance or accident that this time is referred to as the "Information Age".  Remember, nothing is by chance or accident.  Now you must allow your soul to continue It's search.  I do not know exactly which path or tool will lead you to the knowing, yet I do know that if you allow your soul to continue it's search, it will lead you there.

     This is only the beginning for many of you, and a pondering place for many more.  Many of you already know and if you do then you must know that you too, are needed to help other seekers find their way.  Shine your light brightly so that others will see the way in which you live, the love and compassion you share freely, the graceful way that you face your challenges and they will yearn for the peace that you carry with you.  Their yearning will keep them on their search.

     In the days to come, I will publish more writings and links and tools to join us all.  We who are light workers, and we who are light seekers.  We are ALL ONE.  We must remember and reunite, in order to bring more seekers to Spirit.  And this is what makes God, Spirit, Source, very happy!!!  Any time a dark spot within It's Universe shines Light, Spirit laughs with delight!!!!  For God is Love and We are Love, and that is All That Is.
